Michele was Gucci's creative director from 2015 to 2022. He replaced the sleek, glossy Gucci of the 2000s with something more eccentric, full of flowers, animals and 70s shapes. This shirt is a good example of that.
The print is drawn like a painting, not repeated like wallpaper. Sand-coloured tigers with dark stripes and yellow-outlined tails crouch among branches of white and coral blossom.
